On April 8, 2025, under the global vision of "Together Win Future,"  hosted FOTON LATAM PARTNERS CONFERENCE 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil. Centered on the strategy of “deepening presence in Latin America, driving global growth,” the company announced two major milestones: the rollout of the first locally produced light-duty truck ALL NEW AUMARK in Brazil and the achievement of 12 million vehicles produced globally. This dual breakthrough not only marks the launch of the first Chinese commercial vehicle production line in Brazil, but also reflects FOTON’s commitment to advancing the global commercial vehicle industry through “technology export and ecosystem collaboration,” accelerating the sector’s green transformation and industrial upgrade.

The launch of FOTON’s localized manufacturing facility in Brazil marks a critical milestone in the company’s global expansion. Jointly built with local partner AGRALE, the state-of-the-art factory spans 197,000 square meters with an annual capacity of 5,000 units. Phase one already enables local production of medium and light-duty trucks, with plans to expand into heavy-duty trucks and pickups. As the first Chinese commercial vehicle brand to begin local production in Brazil, FOTON is aligning with the country’s “reindustrialization” strategy through integrated supply chains, the recruitment of over 1,000 local talents, and a “collaborative overseas industrial chain” model. In Q1 2025, FOTON’s sales in Brazil exceeded 500 units, up 180% year-on-year—proof of the localization strategy’s effectiveness. More than a production facility, the new factory serves as a strategic hub for the region, supporting FOTON’s expansion into key markets such as Mexico and Argentina. With a model of local R&D, regional manufacturing, and global synergy, FOTON is driving Latin America’s shift from product importation to technology export and ecosystem empowerment.


福田巴西本土化工厂的投产,是福田汽车全球化布局的关键支点。这座由福田与巴西合作伙伴AGRALE联合打造的现代化工厂,占地19.7万平方米,规划年产能5000台,一期投产即实现中卡、轻卡等车型的本地化生产,并计划拓展至重卡与皮卡领域。作为首个在巴西本地生产的中国商用车品牌,福田汽车还将通过供应链整合、千名本土人才招募及“产业链协同出海”模式,深度融入巴西“再工业化”战略。2025年第一季度,福田汽车巴西销量突破500台,同比增长180%,也从侧面印证了属地化战略成效。工厂的落成不仅是产能的升级,更成为辐射拉美市场的核心枢纽——从巴西出发,覆盖墨西哥、阿根廷等关键市场,福田正以“本地研发、区域制造、全球协同”的生态模式,推动拉美从产品输入向技术输出与生态赋能的转型。

The rollout of FOTON’s 12 millionth vehicle—produced at its local factory in Brazil—marks a significant milestone in the company’s global strategy and showcases its growing ecosystem synergy capabilities. FOTON has established 22 KD plants, over 1,000 dealerships, and 1,200 service outlets worldwide, covering more than 130 countries and regions. With 18 regional parts centers, the company has built an integrated “stocking–distribution–service” support network.


全球第1200万辆整车巴西工厂下线,是福田汽车全球化布局的里程碑,亦是其生态协同能力的集中体现。目前,福田已在全球建成22个KD工厂、超1000家分销及1200家服务网点,覆盖130余国,并通过18个区域配件中心实现“储备-调配-服务”一体化网络。


This resilient global framework reflects FOTON’s strategic balance between “technology going global” and “localized operations.” In the field of new energy, FOTON has independently developed core “Three Electric” technologies. Several of its NEV models have received EU WVTA certification and have entered 45 countries and regions.

In response to the global decarbonization push, FOTON launched the industry’s first all-scenario commercial vehicle smart ecosystem brand—IECO (Intelligent-Ecology)—in Brazil. Centered on intelligence, efficiency, energy-saving, and evolution, IECO integrates “vehicle–charging–storage” technologies and supports a multi-path approach including BEV, HEV, and FCEV. During the event, FOTON also unveiled a new lineup of customized new energy vehicles for the Latin American market. The lineup includes heavy-duty cold chain trucks, light-duty urban delivery vehicles, and electric buses—forming a complete solution set from ecosystem planning to on-the-ground implementation. Among the new models, the eGALAXUS heavy-duty truck adopts a tri-powertrain strategy—pure electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and hybrid. It features predictive thermal management and a high-efficiency electric drive system for ultra-low energy consumption. It is also the first commercial vehicle to apply 100 Mbps Ethernet architecture, supporting L2+ autonomous driving and smart cockpit data integration.


面对全球“脱碳”浪潮,福田汽车在巴西率先发布中国商用车行业首个全域智慧生态品牌“爱易科(IECO)”,以“智能、高效、节能、进化”为核心,整合“车-充-储”一体化技术,覆盖纯电、混动及氢燃料多路线。此次活动中,福田汽车推出拉美市场定制化新能源产品矩阵,覆盖冷链物流重卡、城市配送轻卡及电动公交等全场景用车解决方案,完成了从生态布局到技术落地应用的闭环。其中全新重卡产品eGALAXUS,涵盖纯电、氢燃料、混动三条动力技术路线,其具备预见性热管理和高效电驱技术,实现低能耗表现。同时采用智慧电子架构,首次在商用车应用百兆以太网,具备L2+的智驾能力和智能座舱大数据传输。

FOTON’s new energy commercial vehicles are already deeply rooted in global markets. In Latin America, over 1,400 electric buses have been delivered. In Europe, pure electric trucks are operating in Germany, Italy, and Poland, while electric sanitation trucks serve multiple German states and municipalities. During the event, FOTON signed multiple strategic agreements with international partners including AGRALE, Marcopolo, and DP World, deepening its localized model of “Technical Standards + Ecosystem Synergy + Value Sharing.” Simultaneously, FOTON officially launched its “Super Power Alliances” in the Latin American market,  partnering with world leaders such as CATL and TELD to deliver comprehensive NEV ecosystem solutions — from battery packs to smart charging — shifting from product-level exports to full-scenario empowerment.
